Mystery on the Missing Gem

Chapter 1: Introduction

So once there lived an amazing girl called Alasha. She was daring, bold, smart and stubborn. Alasha loves fiction, especially fantasy. She also reads lots of fantasy books. Her dream is to be a detective.

Chapter 2: The strange light

One night, Alasha was reading a fantasy book about fairies. As she was reading the book, she was sleepy. She wanted to sleep but she saw something flickering near her. Then she realized she saw a fairy. She was flabbergasted! After some while she was mirthful to see a fairy. “We need your help. Can you help us Alasha?” begged the fairy. Alasha was pleased and at the same time amazed. “Of course but who are you exactly?” asked Alasha. “Come on, I will tell you,” she yelled in happiness.

Chapter 3: About the future

“So my name is Ebola,” the fairy started. ” Our queen, Airel will be leaving the palace for two days and her daughter, Aurora will be incharge of the kingdom.” said Ebola. “Uh huh, What‘s wrong with that? She asked. “It’s just that the princess wants to display the gem of fairyland which contains all the power to rule but someone is waiting to snatch it.” Whimpered the fairy. “Somebody has to protect it!” Alasha shrieked. “Yes, that’s you and if it’s stolen, can you find it and keep it in the display area. Could you do that?” Ebola questioned. “Yes! Definitely. I think I have an inner talent that is the detective Alasha '' She told confidently. “So that’s over and I believe the future of the kingdom is in good hands.” Ebola said. “Of Course, you can trust me,” She squeaked.

Chapter 4: A touch of pixie

The fairy threw a bit of pixie up above high. It turned Alasha’s bedroom into a fairyland. Alasha’s mouth opened wide enough as if the whole fairyland could fit inside. And the fairy threw some on Alasha. The wings started to expand behind Alasha's back. She was about to faint but she didn’t want to miss seeing this. She was astonished. It was challenging to fly but she lied in front of the fairy to show pride to her new friend. “I can do it on my own,” But then she fell down. “I’m really sorry. Now I have learnt my lesson that I can’t do everything on my own.” Alasha sobbed.As soon as Alasha saw the amazing fairyland,she forgot about the incident. (close your eyes and imagine) Fairies are flying everywhere.Superheroes are helping the fairies. Gingerbread men are cooking something. Alasha was speechless. It was so different from her world.Ebola showed Alasha around the kingdom briefly.

Chapter 5: It went missing

After some time they rushed to the palace, Alasha greeted Aurora and she was pleased. Those fairies had a great time. After the evening, Alasha looked around the palace.“Oh no!” she shrieked.“The gem! It’s missing!” She called Ebola and her friends. Nicky, Lola and Jacky arrived. “Can you find it quickly?” whimpered the fairies. “I don’t know” she said. “Okay, When did you see it last?” stated Nicky. “ We can ask the guards if they saw anybody leaving the palace suspicious.” Alasha exclaimed. “Yes, sure!” Lola agreed. Guards said that they haven't seen anybody leaving the palace. Alasha came near the display to investigate and spotted some crumbs and a patch of red clothing. Alasha thought “They must be inside the palace, eating something and wearing a dress similar to this clothing.”

Chapter 6 : Suspect

“Do you think of any suspect?” Alasha questioned. “Would somebody be jealous of the gem?” “I don't think so.” answered Jacky. Silent crept into the room as they were thinking. “Maybe it was any guest who is staying for the night?” asked Ebola. “I think it's Peter.” suggested Nicky. “I agree with Nicky!” agreed Lola. “ Well, Peter definitely doesn't like us being happy or the queen being happy,” said Jacky. “ I saw Peter wearing a red dress with a biscuit on his hands near the display, in the morning.” explained Ebola. “Mmm! Interesting!” commented Alasha. “ Including ebola’s explanation and your opinions, I believe that Peter is not only our guest but a thief…” finished Alasha. They hurried to Peter's room and opened the door. They were all shocked. The room , it was empty. “He must have escaped!” shrieked Nicky. They rushed to the front gate and went near the guards. “When did Peter leave the palace?” they asked. “ He left the palace in the afternoon,” said the guards. They returned to the room, sadly. “But the gem was stolen in the evening.” Alasha said in confusement.

Chapter 7: It’s him!

They thought for a while. “What if we’re wrong! “ exclaimed Alasha. “What if he carries food instead of eating it.” “Do you mean it's the waiter?” realized Lola. “It must have been the waiter. He is inside the palace, He carries food around the palace and his uniform is red.” Declared Jacky. “Let’s go ask them!” Ebola shouted. They questioned the waiter. “No, it’s not me.” told the waiter. Alasha noticed his clothes were missing a patch of red clothing. “Does this belong to you?” interrogated Alasha. “Oh yes, it's mine, thanks very much, where do you find this? ”asked the waiter. "It was on the floor… near the display.” answered Alasha. The thief was caught red-handed. They found the gem. The waiter was punished for his greediness and dishonesty.

Chapter 8: All back to normal

They secured the gem back to its usual place. They all thanked Alasha for helping them to secure the gem and gifted a lot of mementos to remember this memory and fairyland. Along with the gift, they prepared a big feast. The fairies and Alasha were stuffed after the feast. Ebola gave some pixie to Alasha to return home safely. Alasha waved her hand and threw some pixie on her. Alasha woke up suddenly holding the book about fairies, turned around and all was a dream…
